Let us study on what is Basmati Rice?
Basmati is one of the most renowned varieties of rice available in the Marketplace, Worldwide!

"Basmati” was derived from the Sanskrit word “vasmati” which basically indicates that the Rice has a very sweet “fragrant” or “aromatic" flavour.

Most of the Quality Basmati Rice Grades or Varieties are Long-Grained, Very Aromatic and Fragrant, with a light Nutty Tasting Flavor, Basmati is grown in the north of India where the Farmers are mainly using traditional growing methods.

The World has been mesmerised with this magical High Quality Grade of this superb Premium Quality Basmati Rice, which is originating in the Himalayas, ie., the Growing Area of Basmati Rice begin from Himachal Pradesh and meanders through Punjab in and till Sialkot in Pakistan.

“Bas” in Hindi language means “aroma” and “mati” means “full of,” hence the word Basmati — which means “full of aroma or fragrance.” The basic approach to making Basmati Rice that is Light, Soft and Tender and to achieve a great amount of swishy fluffiness, is to rinse it first, otherwise, the grains will be glued or stuck together.

Within a few minutes, place Rice Grains into a Pan of Water and then swish,slush,swash, sprinkle,slosh around,swill,splatter, splosh, smother the grains around to remove any Sediments, Dust Particles and to remove any excess starch.

Initially the water will be appear lightly whitish at first, but after about five to six rinses, it will be clear and the clean Basmati Rice Grains will emerge and it is an enlightening sight, to enjoy and relish
